Detailed Itinerary by days

Day 1
Palamós - Platja d’Aro

Start in Palamós, where brine blends with the aroma of just caught prawns. Drop anchor in Platja d'Aro's crescent cove after sailing north past the small islet known as the Illes Formigues—where medieval wars previously raged. Snorkel over submerged ships in the day; then, walk the Cami de Ronda as evening colors the sky rose-gold. While jazz floats over the marina, dine at Villa Mas, their suquet of peix—fish stew—simmered in clay pots since 1965.

Day 2
Platja d’Aro - Sant Feliu de Guíxols

Allow the morning breeze to bring you to Sant Feliu, where Art Nouveau meets the sea. After kayaking to Cala Salionç, a secret bay where waves have molded cliffs into abstract art, dock beneath the rust-red arches of the Monestir de San Feliu. Ashore, search the old quarter for cork mementos and sip cremat, or flaming rum coffee, at Bar Bistrot as fisherman discuss the daily catch.

Day 3
Sant Feliu - Tossa de Mar

Sail to Tossa de Mar, where a 12th-century castle guard cobblestone walkways. Explore the blue pool of Cala Giverola, then ascend the Vila Vella ramparts for vistas of the Med melting into eternity. Feast on mar i muntanya (surf-and-turf paella) at La Cuina de Can Simón, the terrace lighted by lanterns swinging like drunken fireflies as stars show up.

Day 4
Tossa - Lloret de Mar

Glide south to Lloret, where energetic golden beaches hum. Anchor close to Santa Clotilde Gardens, Renaissance terraces falling into the sea. After jet-skiing Cala Banys, a cove where pine trees lean so near you could pick cones from the water, then dance barefoot at Tropics Beach Club, mojitos in hand, DJ rhythms sync with the waves.

Day 5
Lloret - Blanes

Sail to Blanes, doorway to the wild soul of the Costa Brava. Trekking the Jardí Botànic Marimurtra, where cactus cling to rocks above blue waters, then snorkel the Coves d'Ànfores, their underwater arches covered in amber light. Dine at El Trull, their esqueixada, a tomato-sweet salt cod salad, reminiscent of July sunlight.

Day 6
Blanes - Calella

Coast north to Calella, a community where time bends to the clink of porró wine pitchers. Kayak to Cala Sant Francesc, a beach only accessible by sea, and have a picnic under the twisted shadow of a stone pine eating pa amb tomàquet, tomato-rubbed bread. Join abuelas on the promenade at evening; their laughter blends with the sound of the feet of sardana dancers.

Day 7
Calella - Mataró

Glide past Mataró for your last cruise, where Modernist whimsical edifice winks by Gaudí. One last time, dive into Cala Sant Simó's crystalline embrace and then head back to Palamós as the lighthouse blinks awake come on. Toast on the terrace, the coastlines of Costa Brava carved in your soul like salt on skin.
