Payment
procedure.

Yacht charter payment terms: 50% deposit on reservation, balance at least 30 days before embarkation, bank transfer or card in EUR. Every payment is insured by Wiener Insurance Group and processed through PCI-DSS compliant gateways.

Booking and deadlines

  • Confirm a yacht. Pay 50% of the charter fee to secure the booking.
  • Pay the balance 50% at least 30 days before embarkation.
  • For departures within 60 days, pay the full amount at booking.
  • We send a confirmation and an invoice after each payment.

Bank transfer

  • Preferred method. Fast and secure.
  • Your invoice includes our banking details.

Credit card

  • Pay through a secure link.
  • Card processor fee 3% applies.
  • Enter your booking agreement number and the amount due.

Currency and conversion

  • Prices are shown and charged in EUR unless stated otherwise.
  • Your card provider handles any conversion.
  • Small differences may occur due to exchange rates.

What the charter fee includes

  • Use of the yacht with standard safety and navigation gear.
  • Dinghy with outboard where listed.
  • Bed linen per booking where listed.
  • Check your offer for exact inclusions.

Costs not in the charter fee

  • Fuel, water, and shore power.
  • Marinas, mooring buoys, and port fees.
  • National park permits where required.
  • Tourist taxes as per country rules.
  • Optional extras such as skipper, hostess, chef, SUP, kayak, Wi-Fi.
  • APA for fully crewed yachts, usually 20% to 30% of the charter fee.

Security deposit

  • Paid at check-in by card hold or cash.
  • Refundable after check-out if no damage.
  • Amount depends on yacht and is listed in your offer.
  • Damage waiver options available on selected yachts.

Documents before embarkation

  • Signed charter contract.
  • Crew list with IDs or passports.
  • Skipper license and VHF if bareboat.
  • Arrival details and any transfer requests.

Additional services and local payments

  • Some extras are prepaid. Others are paid at the base.
  • We send a clear list with amounts and payment method for each item.

Receipts and records

  • You receive invoices and receipts for every payment processed through Europe Yachts.
  • Base staff issue local receipts for on-site items.

Refunds and cancellations

  • 72 hours after booking confirmation: free cancellation with a full refund, no questions asked.
  • After the 72-hour cooling-off period, refunds follow the cancellation policy stated in your offer.
  • Provider cancellations receive a full refund of amounts paid.
  • Refunds go to the original payment method. Bank timing varies.

Payment safety and privacy

  • Every client payment is additionally insured by Wiener Insurance Group.
  • PCI-DSS compliant gateways for card processing.
  • No payments to private accounts.
  • GDPR-compliant handling of personal data.
  • Contact support if anyone asks you to pay outside official links.

  • We confirm any change in writing and update your payment schedule.
