Dubrovnik is the southern Croatian base — closer to the Elaphiti islands, Mljet National Park and Korčula than to the Split-side cruising ground. Most charters leave from Marina ACI Dubrovnik (Komolac) or from Marina Frapa in Rogoznica when the yacht is repositioning for a one-way week.

Dubrovnik is busier in late summer than spring because flight schedules concentrate in July and August. If you can sail in June or late September, you get the same warm sea with a fraction of the anchorage traffic on Mljet and around Lastovo. Most charters run Saturday to Saturday.

Catamarans and skippered motor yachts dominate the Dubrovnik base, with a smaller bareboat sailing yacht fleet. One-way charters between Split and Dubrovnik are common — ask us if the dates suit a one-way run.
