Detailed Itinerary by days

Day 1
Šibenik - Kaprije

Starting at Šibenik, where the stone lacework of the UNESCO church shines golden in dawn light, Sail west to Kaprije, an island where time runs to the rhythm of fishing nets drying in the sun and donkeys replace vehicles. Anchor in a remote cove, plunge into water so pure it feels like swimming in air, then feast on brudet, fish stew, at a family-run konoba. The only sound in there is Waves caressing the hull and the far-off cries of gulls.

Day 2
Kaprije - Piškera (Kornati)

Glide north to Opat, a sliver of an island amid ruins of Roman villas where goats graze. Then cruise into the maze of 89 desolate isles known as Kornati National Park Drop anchor at Piškera, a refuge for fishermen where sapphire depths are reached from cliffs. Milky Way your chandelier, snorkel subterranean walls alive with bream then dine under the stars on octopus salad and crusty bread.

Day 3
Piškera - Telašćica Bay

Sail to Telašćica, a nature area where old sentinels stand from cliffs. Kayak the saltwater Mir Lake, its surface reflecting the heavens, then climb to the Grpašćak cliffs for breathtaking Adriatic vistas. Laze on Mala Proversa, a beach where pebbles sing underfoot, brave the "hole in the rock," a natural marine tunnel.

Day 4
Telašćica - Veli Iž

Veli Iž greets you with olive groves and beautiful beaches unusual in Dalmatia. Bike to the highest point of the island for 360° views of the Zadar archipelago, then eat in a garden where figs ripened overhead over pasticada, beef stew. Join residents for fjaka, the Dalmatian art of doing nothing, on the harbor wall at evening.

Day 5
Veli Iž - Molat

An island lost to visitors, Molat provides empty coves and pine trees. Anchor at Zapuntel Bay, snorkel over seagrass meadows, then climb to the WWII plane crash tucked away in the hills. Lunch? Dinner On a taverna terrace smelling of sage, fresh-caught dentex grilled with olive oil and wild herbs is presented.

Day 6
Molat - Sutomišćica Bay (Ugljan)

Visit the hidden treasure on the craggy coast of Ugljan, Sutomišćica, by sailing there. Sveti Petar is a little island capped by a solitary chapel; paddleboard to the islet after swimming in the bay's turquoise embrace. As the sun sets, creating streaks of rose and gold across the sky, indulge in škampi na buzaru, or garlicky shrimp, at a beach shack.

Day 7
Sutomišćica - Šibenik

Vrgada, an island of pine trees and hidden beaches, will round out your journey. Explore Mala Lamjana Bay then return to Šibenik. On the Riva, celebrate your journey with Maraschino liqueur from the stronghold of St. Nicholas, whose stone walls protect the canal. The salt of the Adriatic still clings to your skin, evidence that certain trips never really do stop.
