Palma de Mallorca is the main Balearic embarkation. Most charters cruise the south coast (Cabrera National Park, Cala Pi, Mondragó) for a few nights, then cross to Cabrera or run a Mallorca–Menorca–Ibiza loop on a longer charter.
July and August are the busiest months — Cabrera permits sell out months ahead and Palma marinas need early booking. May, June and September are quieter and rates drop 15–25% from the peak.
Palma is the largest fleet in the Balearics — newer sailing yachts, modern catamarans (Lagoon, Bali), motor yachts and crewed luxury yachts. The Spanish bareboat market is competitive on price.
